Water Damage Technicians at Stoney Restoration are front-line responders. You’ll be dispatched to residential and commercial losses caused by burst pipes, sewer backups, flooding, and other water-related emergencies. The job requires urgency, physical effort, and the ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
This role is hands-on and field-based. You’ll work as part of a team to stabilize properties, remove water, set drying equipment, and help return buildings to pre-loss condition.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Respond to water damage emergencies at homes and commercial properties
- Extract standing water and perform demolition as required
- Set up, monitor, and adjust drying equipment
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
- Document work completed and job progress using mobile tools
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Work as part of a crew to complete jobs efficiently and correctly

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal record check
- Functional English communication skills
Relevant experience that transfers well (not required):
Construction labour, demolition, carpentry, plumbing, landscaping, janitorial work, farm work, vac truck operation, general labor, technician roles, or similar hands-on trades.
Certifications (Helpful, Not Required)
- IICRC Water Damage Technician (WRT) certification
- If you don’t have it, we’ll help you get certified
Availability Requirement
Restoration work is emergency-based. A rotating 24/7 on-call schedule is required. If you’re looking for strictly daytime hours, this role won’t be a fit.
